I just downloaded and registered the pro version.  I tried using the stamps feature.  Everything worked except for the text.  The stamp appeared on the document as it should have but when it saved only the border and background of the stamp saved.  All the text inside the border was gone.  What happened.

Hi Roger,

I am sorry to hear of the problem. I am not sure what happened.

Perhaps you can send me a copy of the PDF and the original files (Word?) so that I can see if I can duplicate the problem. Once duplicated, it becomes easier to troubleshoot.

Please contact me directly at exp [at] exp-systems [dot] com.

   Cheers!

Thanks for the temp fix.  I'm looking forward to the fix.  I notice there have been 70 views to this posting.  You may want to post the temp fix here for others.

Thanks Roger: good point.

For everyone else having the problem of the text in a stamp not appearing, here is a temporary fix when using v2.5.2:

  1. Start PDF reDirect, and go into Preferences >> Stamps
  2. Create a new “text” stamp by clicking the “Add Text” button
  3. Enter “000 Dummy Text” as the name of the text stamp
  4. Clear any text from the “Text” field, then click “OK” to exit
  5. Now, when you want to apply your “CONFIDENTIAL” stamp (or whatever it was), also select the “000 Dummy Text” stamp

What happens is that the dummy stamp will initialize the text pen such that the subsequent stamp is applied properly.

I hope this helps. I will fix this in the next release.

Best regards,
