I am a registered user of Pro, yet each time I load the program it reverts to Freeware version.  I have set Preferences to Startup in Pro mode, rebooted, exited, restarted the program; all of this several times.  Please help.

   That does sound odd. I'm not sure I know what is going on, but please check the following:

  • Is the program properly registered? That is, have you entered your license key and the program says in the upper left-hand corner "Registered to Your Name".
  • Is it possible that you are starting the program manually using the green icon for the Freeware version? When starting the program manually, make sure you choose the red icon for PDF reDirect Pro.
  • Can you check the name of the printer. Does it say "Pro" in it's name (ie PDF reDirect Pro v2)?

   If none of the above help, the next steps will be to record an error log so that I can see what is going on, and where the problem might be located. I'll let you know how to do this in my next post if needed.
