Hello,

   I recently received a message concerning an error message when installing a batch printer. The error was error number 1797 which was recorded in the error log.

   The user reported that he was able to fix the problem as follows:

I was able to get it to work. I got some information off the web about the error. I deleted an old printer driver on LPT1. It took a few reboots to get it off. I then reinstalled and it worked.

Error and Solution Summary:

Error: Not able to add a new Batch printer.

DLL Error Number =  1797 - The printer driver is unknown.

1. Uninstall PDF Redirect Pro

2. System must have:

    c:\windows\system32\srclient.dll

    c:\windows\system32\bem\framedyn.dll

3. Verify the Windows system Path is valid and include both directories above.

4. Remove any old printers not used, may take several reboots.

5. Reinstall PDF Redirect Pro, add Batch Printer
