Hi Michel

We are successfully using PDF reDirect Pro on 2 machines, both unregistered but within the 90 day period.

On one other PC when we try to email a report from Access, it just brings up the PDF reDirect Pro v2 user interface, on the Email 'tab'

The PC's are the same spec, installed in the same way, running Vista 64bit (although we did have the same issue when the PC in question was running XP)

Any suggestions on what needs changed to bypass the UI?

Thanks

Hi,

   That is odd.

Is it possible that the batch printer was created by one user, and now you are logging in using a different username? If so, the settings file (which is user specific) is not found, so the program resorts to bringing up the UI.

   Could  that be the problem?

Hi Michel

Please can you tell me the name and location of the settings file so that I can check and/or change it?

Or, if it's in the Registry can you give me the key to check/change?

Thanks

Sure.

The user's settings file is located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\PDF reDirect\Prefs_v2.ini

The batch printer settings files are located here, and can be copied from one user to another if you need each user to have access to the same batch printer:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\PDF reDirect\Batch_Printers

   I hope that helps!
