Hello,

I have recently upgraded from the trial version and purchased PDF reDirect Pro and I was looking at the VBA samples and when I try to run the macro in the Word sample, I get an error "Could Not Find Any Batch PDF Settings in Folder xxxx\Batch_Printers"  I looked and I don't have that folder - did I miss something during the install?  I downloaded the ActiveX control already as well.

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

Not sure. The latest version of the VBA sample code will automatically install a PDF batch printer if one is not found.

I would suggest we try first to find out that you can install a Batch printer. Please start PDF reDirect Pro, then click on the green "Preferences" button, and then the "Batch Printer" button. Try to add a new Batch printer (call it BatchPDF). Did that work?

If that work, try running the macro again. Did it work this time? If not, let me know and I will help you further to try to find out what is going wrong.

No, that gave me an error too:

"Sorry, PDF Batch Printer could not be added.  There was an error."

All I could do was click OK

Thanks

Oops.

1st: do you have administrative priviledges?

2nd: go back into the Preferences >> General and turn on the error logging. Try creating the Batch PDF printer again (it will probably fail again). After it fails, go back to the General area, and choose to view the error log then send it to my at my e-mail address (exp [at] exp-systems [dot] com) or post here.

Cheers!
