Hi,

1. I want to copy html from my helpdesk userguide and paste it in Wordpad.

2. Add images and external links.

3. Add internal links in pdf itself from Index to article.

I can do above with your PRO version?

Another question: Can I open the already created pdf and edit it? Or i have to make changes to original Wordpad and create pdf again?

thanks, rr

Hello "rr",

   To answer your questions:

1. I want to copy html from my helpdesk userguide and paste it in Wordpad. OK.

2. Add images and external links. Yes for images. You can add external links and make them clickable only if you use the Professional version.

3. Add internal links in pdf itself from Index to article. Not yet. This feature will be available in the next version, and only if you use MS Word. (Sorry)

I can do above with your PRO version? See comments above.

Another question: Can I open the already created pdf and edit it? Or i have to make changes to original Wordpad and create pdf again? PDF reDirect is a "PDF Creator" and not an "Editor". Therefore, you would need to edit the origial document to make the changes.

My clients can print the pdf document that I create with your PRO version? Yes if you use PDF reDirect. With PDF reDirect Pro, you can choose to allow printing, or you can "lock" the PDF and not allow printing: it is your choice.

thanks, rr
You are welcome. PDF reDirect continues to evolve and more and more features are added every year! For adding external links, there are a few limitations that you should be aware of. They are explained [here].

Hi,

I don't believe so. I am relying on the "VBA" feature of MS Word for reading the links and transferring them to the PDF. I do not believe that MS Works supports VBA programs (Visual Basic Applications, also known as "macros").

Michel.
