Hi Michel,

Some of my pdf's come out in landscape when the setting is
portrait. This occurs when doing a EFT payment from my bank.
It used to be portrait, but now landscape.

I changed the format a few days ago for a special print, but then
changed it back to landscape again, however, it seems to be stuck
on landscape for this particular application.

What do you think?

Hi,

You can change the orientation in one of three ways.

  1. The application may have it's own setting (which gets transferred to the printer). It may, or may not be remembered (it would depend on the application).
  2. When you print from an application, you may get the opportunity to change the printer properties, including the orientation. That setting is temporary, and is forgotten as soon as you close the application.
  3. If you change the printer properties (from the Windows Printer Control Panel, or via PDF reDirect >> Preferences >> Properties) will change the default setting of the printer, and therefore will be remember as the default of the printer for all applications.

Hopefully the above will help you determine why it might be stuck on landscape. Using #3 above should allow you to reset the printer back to portrait as the default orientation.

   Cheers!
