I go into preferences and set "PDF Professional" as the start-up mode but each time I re-launch the program I am in "freeware mode". I am a registered user.

Hi,

   Are you launching via the Start menu or by printing? If you are launching manually via the Start Menu, please make sure that you click the Red "PDF reDirect Pro" icon. If you use the green "freeware" icon, it will (temporarily) override your default setting, and start in freeware mode.
