Hi, I'm new to this program having just purchased it and am going through a slight learning curve to get up to speed.  A problem I'm having and can't resolve is that when I create a pdf doc using the print function from Word 2003(sp3), the text in preview and when printed has a shadow.   This is not how the text looks in Word.

It looks like a shaded font style however, I'm using arial 12 pt. normal.  I've searched the forum but haven't found that anyone else has had this problem.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,

   Sorry to hear that.

If the information is not confidential, please send me the Word and the PDF file so that I can take a look, and figure out the problem. You can send it to my e-mail address at exp (at) exp-systems.com.

When you say "and when printed", is that when printed to a physical printer?

   Cheers!

Hi Michel,

I've responded using my email account as I didn't see a way to attach the files you requested using the forum client.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,

I do not allow posting of files on the forum (for security reasons), but I did get your e-mail with the files - which helped.

Now for the fix. Highlight your text, select in the Word Menu Format >> Font. In the window that appears, uncheck the checkbox that says "engrave", then click OK.

   It should convert properly now.

   Cheers!

That was it!  Not sure how that style was selected as I don't ever recall using it.  That for the quick fix.

Thanks again,

Mike
