Hello,

I'm testing the v2.0.900 (Beta) on my Windows XP Pro. Traditional Chinese Version, and my account name is chinese characters.

When I tried to get PDF output by the PDF reDirect Pro v2, I have to wait about 10 minutes and then the system prompted a dialog.

After enabled the log function and checked the log file, I found that the following paths: AppData Path, Resources Path, Temp Path, Thumbnails Path, User Path are all assigned to be "D:\Documents and Settings\<Chinese Account Name>\Application Data\ ....".

I thought that the problem is caused by the chinese characters in the path. But, how can I change the path name for those paths above?

Hi Simon,

No fix available since the program now defaults to saving the preferences in the user's account so that his settings are remembered.

You could use Pro v2.0.15 which saves the settings in the System folder.

I will continue to look for a fix for properly handling Chinese characters. That would be the best way of handling this problem.

Hi, it is just a test scenario. I agree that the best solution is handling Chinese characters properly.
