I create word documents and then PDF the document using PDF Redirect. If I  select the option "clear author metadata after exiting" in General does this mean that the resulting PDF document will NOT have any metadata? My word documents always have meta data such as Track Changes, Comments etc that I have accepted but i dont want the person i am sending the PDF to to be able to look them up afterwards. Im assuming that without selecting the option above, my metadata in the word document would be transferred to the PDF.

Thanks!

Salim

Actually, that option will clear the Metadata from the fields in PDF redirect's user interface. If you don't select that option, then PDF redirect will remember your name (for example) so you don't have to retype it back in.

Hopefully I am being clear, but please let me know if I am not.

Best,
