Hi Michel,
 
I recently did a clean install of WinXP on my system and updated PDF Redirect Pro from 2.2.8 to 2.5.2 and now have problems with text stamps.
 
I recreated the text stamps. The text appears in the correct location on a page but some characters are missing.
 
Two examples:
   "NEW  SHEET" (two spaces between words) appears as "W H"
   "REPLACEMENT  SHEET" (two spaces between words) appears as "RACM  H"
 
The problem also occurs for some of the text stamps installed with the product. For example, the "CONFIDENTIAL-Yellow URH" stamp shows "CIDIA" but the "CONFIDENTIAL-Text" stamps shows the entire word correctly.
 
Apparently no one else has reported this problem so it must be something pecuiliar with my installation. Any ideas?

Hi,

   I just tried both "NEW  SHEET" and "REPLACEMENT  SHEET" on various printouts, and they seem OK to me. So, clearly something is different between our two computers.

   I will try a backup computer which has WinXP (I normally use Win7), to see if that makes a difference.

Hi,

   I'm back. On my old computer, I had v2.2.8 installed. I created a "NEW  SHEET" stamp (two spaces). Them, I upgraded to v2.5.2, and the stamp still displayed OK on the new PDF files I created.

   Please send me by e-mail the following: a sample PDF, and a copy of the stamp definition file located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\PDF reDirect\Stamps\NEW  SHEET.ini, and the .txr file too.

   I can take a look to see if it is different than mine.

Hi Michel,
 
I discovered the problem occurs with only 5 PDF files on my computer. I just happened to do all of my testing with these files as I was adding TXT stamps.
 
This is "case closed" unless you want to see one of these rogue PDF files.
