We bought PDF reDirect Pro so we can encrypt PDFs we send to your customers. After applying encryption, some of the data goes missing from our PDFs. Any ideas?

Hi,

I have a question: are you talking about text disappearing as the issue?

   Thanks,

Yes, our loan program generates a load summary. We "print" it using CutePDF, then we tried to encrypt it but the actually information (amounts, names, rates) disappears. The form itself still stays.

Hi,

I am curious: how is your document created? Are you using proprietary software, or something common like Excel or Word? Is there a way that the original file as well as the non-encrypted PDF and the encrypted PDF can be sent to me. Specifically, do you have a sample file with no confidential information?

If you can, please send the above to exp (at) exp-systems (dot) com. Hopefully I can find the source of the problem, and fix it for you.

In the mean time, if you have the option, you can try to print the output as an "image" rather than as "text" - which will definitely prevent the text from disappearing.

   Kindest regards,
