My trial version of 2003 MsWord has run out.  Using PDF reDirect Pro was fun!  Now that MsWord has expired, I tried using WordPad on my computer to see if it could be converted to a PDF document.

It's not working.   I keep getting this error:

A little window opens up marked "PDF_Capture"

Then the text inside says "ActiveX component can't create object"

I will eventually get MsWord again, but is there something wrong or is WordPad just something that is not meant to be converted?

Thanks,

Matt

Hi,

The two should not be related. Yes, you can create PDF files from Wordpad with PDF reDirect.

I saw from your other post that you are upgrading to v2.2.5. Please complete that and see if that works better for you. If the problem continues, please let me know and we'll take it from there.

    Cheers!

I didn't do anything different, but got the new version to install properly.

Found out that PDF reDirect does convert both MS Works word processor and WordPad!  Worked great.

Got it taken care of.

Thanks for your time and effort.

Matt
