Why are the Progress Bars shaded Grey when Meeting Timer Pro starts?
  • Meeting Timer Pro will "guess" the start time of the meeting. For example, if it is 09:58, then it will guess that the meeting will start at 10:00 and it will be shaded grey, and will display a count-down showing that the meeting will start in 2 minutes.
  • The topic timer will be shaded (paused) as well. Simply click the "Play" [>]button to start the timer.

Can I run Meeting Timer from a USB stick?
  • Yes, and you do not need to run the installer beforehand. You will be asked to agree to the license, and it will default to the "Freeware" mode, but you can switch to Pro Mode right away via the popup menu. Afterward, it will remember your settings on that computer.
  • Simply copy the program from C:\Program Files\Meeting Timer\Meeting Timer.exe to your USB Stick.
  • You can also get a copy of the exe from [ http://www.exp-systems.com/MeetingTimer/Download/Meeting%20Timer.exe - here ].

Why do I get asked to agree to the EULA a second time after installing Meeting Timer?
  • The problem occurs only on Windows Vista and Windows 7.
  • When a regular user tries to install Meeting Timer, an Administrator is required to enter his password to continue the installation. Once the installation begins, the acknowledgment of the license is recorded against the administrator.
  • When the user runs Meeting Timer, he will be asked to agree to the license as well.

What is contained in the user license?
  • Pretty standard fare. Basically, it's a "per-user" licensing model.
  • The Freeware version is free, even for personal, corporate and government use.
  • You can read the full text [ http://www.exp-systems.com/MeetingTimer/Download/EULA.txt - here ]
