When using PDF reDirect on one PC I get some of the data missing.

Shirt/Blouse - Top      28.60
shows on the invoice that is printed on the Epson printer but when I print usin PDF reDirect I get the following line

Shirt/Blouse - Top      8.60.
But it shows all other lines correctly. It is always the same line that is effected, this only happens on 1 PC

Please help

Hi John,

Very weird. Which program are you using to print your invoice? If it's Microsoft Word, it is possible that it's a memory handling issue, which can be fixed by reducing the PDF reDirect printer's resolution from 600 to 300 dots per inch (300dpi). You can make this change via PDF reDirect >> Preferences >> Properties >> Advanced >> Print Quality >> 300 dpi.

Hopefully that does the trick for you. Please let me know how it works out.

   Cheers!

Michel

Thanks for the reply, I have reduced the resolution but it has made no difference, The program I am using is a POS program. We have PDF Redirect installed on 3 other PC's but only have the issue on one PC

Any further suggestions

Hi,

It's disconcerting that the problem would only occur on one PC. Is it possible that this one PC has a low amount of available memory?

The only other thing I can think to try is to get the latest version of Ghostscript. You can get it from [here]. Install that, then, in PDF reDirect, go into Preferences >> General >> Conversion Engine >> Select AFPL Ghostscript >> etc.

    Cheers!

Hi,

Sorry, I am out of options, especially if you tried the latest version of GS. Maybe try a different font?

Otherwise, I have not heard of this problem before, so I do not have a ready-made fix.

   Kindest regards,
